Google’s Moibilegeddon search algorithm lowers websites that aren’t mobile-friendly starting April 21. 2015. Is your website mobile friendly?

Google has officially rolled out their latest algorithm and it has everything to do with how it can and will affect your business website.  Here is the most recent statement regarding Google’s April 21st announcement about mobile users and how rankings will be affected:

“When it comes to search on mobile devices, users should get the most relevant and timely results, no matter if the information lives on mobile-friendly web pages or apps. As more people use mobile devices to access the internet, our algorithms have to adapt to these usage patterns.

Starting April 21, we will be expanding our use of mobile-friendliness as a ranking signal. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in our search results. Consequently, users will find it easier to get relevant, high quality search results that are optimized for their devices.”

Customer’s love their smartphones – WHY?  Because of they are convenient and are always around AND they use mobile websites when they want to take action.  People are spending more and more time on the mobile devices.

Mobile web users have taken over desktop users since 2014.  But no one wants to use their thumb to tap links that are barely big enough to see.  And there’s nothing worse than a slow to load details websites squeezed down into an tiny little screen.  Mobile users won’t stand around and wait.  They will head straight for your competitors mobile sites.
